This year I had the chance to visit Niagara region wine country twice in the company of wonderful running enthusiasts and friends. On our last trip we visit winery Foreign Affair and had our minds BLOWN out of the water when we tried their 2007 Cabernet Franc Ti Amo. This one definitely warranted a Wednesday Wine review for sure!
We were so blown away that every other wine we tasted that weekend just paled in comparison. And now the phrase “But is it a 2007 Cabernet Franc good?” is a very valid question. To cap off a stellar year in wine, racing, food and friends we celebrated by having a dinner party to open up this gorgeous bottle of wine.
To go with our wine themed party I picked up a few wine infused foods including the Belvitano Merlot cheese, Port wine drunken cheese and some Prosecco infused salami.
It was a feast to be sure! Which of course included mouthwatering calzones from Frank’s Pizza House
Here’s our Wednesday Wine review of the wine! Please excuse the very suspect camera angles! We were already 4 bottles in before we opened this one!
A wonderful experience to share with lovely friends! Can’t wait to go running with you all in wine country again soon!
Cheers, Saluté, Skål! Happy Wednesday Wine!
