If a cafe could be “cute as a button” this would be it. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and drop dead gorgeous scones (and I mean gorgeous on the outside and on the inside because these are delicious).
On this visit I tried the “Eggy”. The best way I could describe it is an “sconified” egg. Cutting into it you get that slow ooze that you want in a poached egg with the benefit of delicious butter scone soak it all in. Are you hungry yet?
There’s a wine and cheese party in my future that will be gifted half a dozen beautiful scones in various flavours tonight. Get your butter and jam ready, friends.
