If you don’t already know the level of my obsession for donuts, you’ll get the gist it here, here and here. So I thought I should temper my obsession with the ability to actually make donuts myself and this class at Le Dolci was a perfect primer.
Le Dolci teacher, Chef Lindsey, showed us the ropes and we went home with two donut recipes and about 2 dozen donuts!
It’s important to note that you don’t have to have deep fryer but it’s probably preferred to make it easier to cook these beautiful donuts.
Lastly my favourite part was decorating. You could go with the simple cinnamon sugar topping or go all out with sprinkles, and frosting.
Overall, we had a wonderful time learning and making donuts! I highly recommend their cooking classes at Le Dolci, they have great teachers with lots of experience. After all, who can say no to a donut? Certainly, not I!
