Who can say no to a snow picnic when it means you get to spend time with this dude?
Cold Toronto mornings call for something warm and delicious and luckily, Rachel let us in on her favourite St. Lawrence Market breakfast.
Our first stop, St. Urbain Bagels. Straight from Montreal these bagels are best enjoyed fresh from the wood burning oven. There’s usually a line on Saturday morning, but that should give you just enough time to choose your bagel and also watch them being expertly made.
Here we grabbed a bagel with cream cheese before heading off to our next stop – Seafront Fish Market.
Rach, D & Mustard have tried their fair share of smoked salmon at the market but Seafront‘s is their favourite.
And when you put it all together… what do you get? Why a delicious breakfast of course. Crunchy and warm and fresh. As fresh as fresh can get!
Maybe not the best idea to enjoy on a snow-laden picnic table in negative temperatures but we’ll live dangerously for food.
Looking forward to trying this again now that the weather’s gotten a little warmer!
