Can’t believe that Tdot Culinary MixTape Vol 1 has come and gone! We had a truly amazing time getting to know these two through their food:
We were surprised and delighted by all of the menu offerings! Here’s just a small peek at some of the awesome dishes we got to try on the Chef’s tasting menu
As Chris Ha said during dinner “This is how you make green vegetables taste good”
Smoked Ham with Kale, Dandelion Greens, Collard Greens and Crispy Shallots to add a bit of crunch to the texture.

Asian BBQ, crispy pork belly with caramelized onion dumpling, slaw and my favourite – fiddleheads! Loved this dish, the pork was cooked perfectly.
To seranade us post dinner we got to see some wicked hip hop and spoken word artists rock the mic.
We loved Cabal. The space is so interesting, with the exposed brick and awesome art work. We even got a chance to see some art being created live:
Overall a fantastic way to spend #Humpday with friends and truly excellent food. Thanks again to Joe Friday and Squiggy for a great evening! I think I speak for everyone when I say I am excited for volume 2 when Robin comes back from the artic!
