Totally behind on posting this New Year’s Eve brunch with our besties from SF, the Lockwoods! But as it’s Chinese New Year, I thought today would be as good a day as any to post about the lovely time we had at Tabule!
We haven’t tried Middle Eastern food for Brunch but we’ve heard great things about Tabule’s menu and headed over on the last day of 2014.
So what does a Middle Eastern morning look like?
Lentil soup is just the start. Warm and pureed, no cream or butter, just all lentil.
I decided that the Kefta plate would be perfect for my main meal and loved the delicious lamb and beef skewer. Served with a good portion of rice and salad.
Sweet endings were deliciously indulgent with Rice Pudding with raisins and my favourite Kunafa:
The desserts were probably my favourite part of the whole meal! Thanks Tabule for providing a yummy finish to 2014!
And for today – Gong Xi Fa Cai!
