Why Did the Brunchosaurus Cross the Road?
To get to the Distillery Of Course!
Jackie always keeps me in the loop on the new, exciting, fun and crazy things that could be had with food. And she has a very strict policy about running races: Only run if it ends in Alcohol or Food. So we were happy to find another race that not only ended in alcohol but had you drinking it through out the entire run.
The Beer Run held it’s first ever Toronto race last Sunday. Starting and finishing at Mill Street Brewery in the Distillery District, the run was 11.5 k of city racing with stops at Steam Whistle Brewery, Three Brewers and Amsterdam Brewery.
We started our race with a cup of beer from Mill Street. I couldn’t tell you which beer we had but I can tell you my all time favourite Mill St. beer is their lemon tea beer! At any rate it was a refreshing start before our run.
