If you read this blog you’ll know how much we LOVE farmer’s markets, hand crafted goods, and community projects! This post will give you a 3-in-1 experience. This Saturday, June 21st, the Brampton Farmer’s Market will be open for 2014! You’ll have every thing from veggies, meats, and dairy fresh from the farmers!
Kristine and Faye from When Yarn Ends Meet will be selling their knitted and crochet art. These ladies are very talented. I can barely tie knots while they are creating beautiful accessories and apparel!
And the best part? They love to support local charities – at least 10% of their profits are dedicated to this effort. For this Saturday they are supporting the New Mom Project. Their goal is to help new mothers all over the city of Toronto by providing them with baby boxes full of essentials for their new born babies.
Here is the raffle price for the draw.
Kristine and Faye will be at the Brampton Market again through out the summer, so don’t worry if you aren’t able to get there this weekend! You can keep up to date with their lovely work by going to their Instagram, Twitter, or maybe you’ll run into them crocheting on the subway!
