Sarap Sarap!

One night, Chris, Robin and I wandered out of the Drake Hotel at midnight and we stumbled across Midpoint.  While we went in for a pint, we ended up with something entirely better. We met Tocino Boys‘ John DeBlois who had a special treat for us. How about a little Filipino breakfast?

Introducing the Supreme Supreme

Supreme Supreme Tocino Boys
Tocino Boys’ Supreme Supreme. So good they named it twice.

Here’s the line up: Peameal Bacon, Chicken Bacon, Sweet Bacon, Sweet Sausage and Smoked Bacon. Smothered in Mustard Mayo, Garlic Butter it’s served on pandesal or “Milk Bread”.

Now believe me,  it seemed like a lot for one sandwich but it was spectacular.  All that savoury meat on the sweet milk bread just worked so well together. And at 5 dollars, it was a steal! I only wish I had better pictures.  So if you’re hankering for a filipino morning at 1:00  AM, make sure to stop in at Midpoint to try this tasty treat. It goes so well with a pint!

And this weekend is the best weekend to try!  All proceeds from this weekend will be donated to help relief efforts in the Philippines from Typhoon Haiyan.
